Express Your Self
During my Reiki sessions I receive intuitive messages for my clients. Today I received my most vivid, detailed vision that I feel is important to share with my readers as well. I haven’t seen or heard of this process of expression anywhere before. But, it sounded very cool to me.
I saw a brand new box of 24 Crayola crayons. I could even smell the crayon scent. I also saw wide-ruled notebook paper, single sheets, not a notebook. The message that I received was as follows:
Take a couple deep breaths and relax. Choose a crayon that corresponds to the color which matches how you are feeling. Use your first instinct without any thought behind it. It is also important to use crayons instead of pencil crayons, (can’t explain this part but this was part of the message as well but I’m sure that it has to do with creative expression vs worrying about details). Now, start writing or drawing on the wide-ruled paper whatever flows. Again, don’t think about it, just let the process unfold. If you feel like changing colors part way through, go for it. If possible, this exercise should take place on a daily basis. Using individual sheets of paper rather than a notebook is because each paper is an individual expression and should be respected as such. You can date the pages or not but keep them in order in a three-ring binder. These pages do not have to be read again if you don’t want to, but it will be interesting for you to observe the color changes as you look back on each day. This is a process of creative release.
I would love to hear your thoughts and experiences with this technique.
Blessings,
~Tania

One moment changes everything
With my several businesses, I have seven different email addresses. That adds up to a phenomenal amount of emails, most of them being spam. Yet I’ve learned that I have to at least check most of them just in case a client or customer didn’t use a subject line or used an odd subject. And spammers are definitely getting good at subject lines.
This Monday morning I received one of those emails with a different subject line through my blog.
A gentleman by the name of Phil Bolsta wanted to know if I would be willing to review his new book on my blog. Checked out his website. Received my review copy today. What an honor!
Sixty Seconds: One Moment Changes Everything is one of those books that you cannot wait to get into. I will be posting a full review as soon as I finish reading the book but for now, here is an overview:
“The Foreword is written by Caroline Myss. The roster of 45 storytellers includes Joan Borysenko, Dr. Deepak Chopra, geneticist Dr. Francis Collins, Frank Deford, Dr. Larry Dossey, Dr. Wayne Dyer, Dan Millman, Caroline Myss, Dr. Christiane Northrup, Dr. Dean Ornish, Dr. Rachel Naomi Remen, Dr. Bernie Siegel, James Van Praagh, singer Billy Vera, Doreen Virtue, Neale Donald Walsch and bassist Victor Wooten.”
“These compelling stories drive home the point that everyone is capable of experiencing profoundly sacred moments. Readers will learn that when they are changed by sacred experiences, the way they show up in the world changes, which in turn subtly changes the people with whom they interact. Ultimately, their capacity to recognize the sacredness in every moment is expanded, and they will fully appreciate that every day is a gift — and that what they do with it is a gift to themselves, to others and to the world.”
“This uplifting collection of life-altering stories is needed more than ever in this new millennium, in which millions yearn for meaning and purpose while fear and uncertainty bubble under the surface of everyday life.”
Check back soon to read my full review.

Gathering honey

“Like the bee gathering honey from the different flowers, the wise person accepts the essence of the different scriptures and sees only the good in all religions.” ~ Mahatma Gandhi

Forever Young
Forever Young - Rod Stewart
May the good lord be with you down every road you’re on
And may sunshine and happiness,
surround you when you’re far from home
And may you grow to be proud, dignified and true
And do unto others as you’d have done to you
Be courageous and be brave
And in my heart
you’ll always stay
Forever young, forever young,
forever young
May good fortune be with you, may your
guiding light be strong
Build a stairway to heaven with
your prince or your vagabond
And may you never love in vain
And in my heart you will remain
Forever young,
forever young,
And when you finally fly away,
I’ll be hoping that I served you well
For all the wisdom of a lifetime, no one can ever tell
But whatever road you choose
I’m right behind you
Win or lose
Forever young.
Forever young.
