When the Teacher is Ready…
“When the student is ready, the teacher will appear…”
I tend to look at life a little bit differently than the “norm.” I like it that way. I love who I’ve become. I’m a Reiki Master. I’ve always rebeled against the term “Master.” I’ve know for a very long time that I was a healer (physically or someone that was just a good listener). Never connected with Reiki; there are Masters & symbols… it has to passed on to the student… blah, blah. Sounds a little cult-ish or religious… Circumstances do happen and I became a Level II Reiki Practitioner. Hmm… Then I read (sorry can’t find the reference) but… a Reiki Master is a person who has made the conscious decision to master their own life. How, cool! I went on to gain my mastership… I was ready. I went for Master. My students have been my greatest teachers…
I teach by sharing. Listening to my students, sharing my experiences. Letting them voice their intentions to spirit. It’s a beautiful experience. I’m a catalyst tp my students to become empowered, just by listening. Compassion. Listening. Sharing. Understanding.
I’ve thought, ”Is it my ego that makes me feel this way?” I ‘know’ that it’s not supposed to be. And I know that I can honestly say, “NO”. It feels too right. I’m just a catalyst, facilitator. My students have gone on to be so much… I’m so proud of who they’ve become. They have more clients than I do, they’re working healing animals… am I jeolous? No way… I’ve learned so much from my students. And the students keep coming. So, I’m on my path… the flow keeps flowing. I’ve never experienced such connectedness and love.

I know nothing about reiki, so I read your two post. I understand it gives you a lot of energy. The wheel has turned and now you are teaching.
Through teaching you will see what you know through the eyes of the other ones? So the master learns again on a new level.
